Runo Hotel Porvoo

I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels. This was one of my favorites! I stayed in a small room as a solo traveler for one night. It was tight, but I knew that is what I was signing up for and it was perfect for me. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great! I loved all the personal touches in the hotel. The service was impeccable! And the breakfast!!!! Oh my goodness, let's talk about the breakfast! What a spread! I wish I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend Runo if you are in the area!

Stayed here with my partner for a romantic Easter holiday. Entering from the rainy street, we were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed our stay throughout. I had heard good things about the breakfast, and we can confirm it to be great. Only the attic sauna (unisex) loses authenticity points for having to bathe in a swimsuit. We (a Finn + a German) could have taken it in the nude!

Pretty ok hotel. Fantastic location. Staff seemed nice but at times a bit stressed. Our room had some dust on the windowsills. The bathroom door could not be locked and the bathroom door had a window which was a big privacy issue. The breakfast started by us waiting to be seated. The staff introduced the cuisine and led us to our table. The staff prepared our eggs as per our order. It took a lot of time until the eggs came, and at that point we had already eaten a lot of the other stuff. It felt like the concept did not work well because people generally don't want to eat eggs as the last part of their breakfast. The food was okay but could have used some more flavor.
