What a wonderful experience! The Riad is absolutely beautiful, as well as a very quiet and restful experience. Fabulous location right in the Medina just minutes walking from the major sites. The breakfast was out of this world. Rashid was very welcoming and kind, and they arranged a fabulous trip to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss for just 500DH with Karim, who was a lovely guide and great driver. Can’t recommend highly enough!
We had a wonderful stay at Riad Bahia. We so loved our little room 'Sarah' upstairs on the roofterrace! It was hard to leave. Beautiful service and accommodation. We even had a 4 hour long tour through the medina of Meknes from owner Bouchra, which we also very much enjoyed. Don't believe the Lonely Planet when it tells you Meknes pales to Fez. Meknes is a friendly, interesting, safe and rich (non-touristic) city with a beautiful medina and lovely people.
We booked for yhe riad in the city center but they gave us the rooms in another riad far from the center. The riad was ok comparing with the rest of riads in Morocco. Thd breakfast was very poor and not enough for all the people
