Ryad Marrakech

Wonderful wonderful riad! As you walk in you are greeted with the gorgeous scents coming from oil burners in the hallway and immediately feel calm. The rest of the property is equally as tranquil and serene with a small pool in the middle. We were welcomed with some mint tea on the terrace and shown to our very beautiful room which was very comfortable. So many lovely things about this place; the rooftop has great views, the service was fabulous (everyone was so welcoming and friendly) and the great thing was that we could walk everywhere as it was in a very nice part of town (Kasbah) with lots of lovely places to eat around and walking distance from the market. I couldn't have asked for more. Also very reasonably priced (we booked 5 nights). Loved it!

Beware of this place! Hicham was the staff we dealt with and he was the most disrespectful person ever. They scammed us out of our money for excursions, we paid in full when we arrived at the Ryad and once we arrived at the excursions we found out it was never paid for. DO NOT TAKE THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE they over price the fare! You can get a local cab for way cheaper. Also don’t pay for dinner at the Ryad it’s over price and not worth it, you can get better food outside at a local restaurant. The bathrooms have no privacy, actually no doors. The WiFi was horrible, it never worked. And there is pool it’s more like a pond. The only good thing about this place was the location, right in the middle of everything otherwise it was a disaster!

We have been trying for a week to get a bill for our stay. They do not write back, there is no contact with the hotel. We cannot settle our stay. I do not recommend. Fraud.
