Louis was really helpful explaining the new car park system and taking care of our bags. When the QR code didn’t work, he even went up to the gate and spoke to someone through the intercom to sort it out. Great service!

Went for a study day. Friendly staff. Good catering service. Nice food. Well presented. Good conference room with efficient audio. Clean and tidy place. Will recommend for group activities.

[1] Unfortunately the lady at reception when we checked in made a mistake and i ended up being charged an extra $53 on top of the already high parking fee for one night! (Thankfully I was reimbursed some money but not until I had to stress out and call them about it). [2] our room smelt like someone had just taken a number 2 in the toilet when we first entered the room! [3] we found a sharp piece of plastic in the sheets of one of the beds! [4] the bin had no bag and it became a nuisance dealing with rubbish, we had bags of our own so we made do but it bothered me after '2 & 3'. [5] there was a large amount of some kind of fibres and dust the continually fell from the ventilation in the bathroom the entire time we were there! Location was great, staff were polite, and the buffet was incredible. Its just not a place I would recommend unless these problems we had were guaranteed not to happen again. Came across as lacking and possibly dangerous and unhealthy. To the RYDGES HOTEL FORTITUDE VALLEY I would seriously consider reaching out to me and working something out regarding our experience and putting more effort in at reception checking and room safety and cleanliness. I'm yet to see the return on my deposit for the room and will write another review after that or amend this one if the hotel contacts me to discuss this. As always I am transparent and honest. People make mistakes but this was a lot to try ignore.
