Rydges North Sydney

So much better than I expected. Rooms large and beds super comfortable. Modern Decor. The Restaurant wasn't open, however the bar with bar menu was open, which we ordered dinner from the bar menu, basic Aussie Favourites, which we were happy with, we received 20% off our bill and everyone loved their meals. Definitely 10/10 all round!

Let’s start with the good, location is great and the room was comfortable. That is unfortunately where the good ends. There is zero signage out the front if self driving, the signage is not facing the road so you can’t see it while driving. Cleaners are hopeless, we stayed for 5 nights and the room was vacuumed ZERO times, toilet paper was never replenished, we had to call reception for them to bring extra up. The bathroom sink was never wiped down. As marks remained there for a week. Bed was poorly made on a couple of occasions. The women that work in the restaurant are rude and think it’s acceptable to have music unbelievably loud during breakfast time. Self check out is hopeless are room credits don’t appear so you just need to line up and talk to reception anyway. While the hotel is in a good location, I’d prefer a clean room. We will not stay here again. Photo provided is day 1 so the room was clean

Lovely Rooms, lovely people and great location for Rydges North Sydney - they seriously let themselves down with the food! Don't bother with the buffet breakfast, it's just not up to expectations for Sydney food. You're better off going somewhere local and getting a fresh breakfast. Dinner in house is not a lot better - go next door (Solana) and grab a wood-fired pizza, so delicious!
