Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel

At short notice i inquired about booking a room for a few hours as i had a long wait for my flight. The lady on the phone and gentleman who checked me in where lovely. I was pleasantly surprised at the room. It had a cool modern layout and comfortable work area. The bed was extremely comfortable. Given that i was metres from the terminal...the sound proofing was outstanding. I was only there for a few hours but to me it was like having a first class lounge experience. I would do this again if i had a long wait time.

I have stayed here before in a budget room which was fine, but it had no view. I highly recommend booking the airport view room if your budget allows it. There is always something to see looking out the window. It is adjacent to the P7 carpark, so it's nice and convenient if you park there. There are restaurants on site or you can head across to the airport. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.

I booked my husband a Plane Spotting Package as he is a keen Aviator. The room was 505. The view was amazing however if you’re going to select a room for Plane Spotting can Rydges please make sure the windows are clean! The room has very basic amenities (no milk) Clean and Tidy. I asked for our Cheese and Fruit Platter to be in our room when we arrive however nothing was there. I rang the concierge and he was going to sort it out. Within the hour our Cheese Platter arrived but our Fruit Platter never came. We then ordered room service. Very ordinary Burger and salad at a very expensive price. The bed was lovely and comfortable as were the pillows. The room was a bit cold (the AC doesn’t go above 20 degrees) There are extra blankets in the cupboard. Lovely shower and body wash. Front desk very helpful on check out The experience was okay but for the price I probably wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a on the CRAZY Plane spotter spectrum!
