Having lost my wallet at the beginning of my trip, I found myself able to book and pay for the hotel online, but unable to physically give a credit card when checking in. Arriving at the front desk after my flight landed in Welly close to midnight, the receptionist went above and beyond to get around the standard policy, resulting in me having a fantastic night’s sleep at the brand new airport hotel, rather than having to sleep in my car in the airport car park! Thank you beyond words 🙏
I would love to give them a 5 🌟 as it was so convenient to be in the airport when you are leaving on the first flight ✈️ in the morning. The room was clean, hallways questionable, and some areas quite bad smell. The only reason I gave 4 🌟 you could see they were short staff and the staff were doing their best to uphold the reputation of the hotel. But under staffing made it look like 2 🌟 hotels. I think this is not the staffs fault but is a management problem 🤔.
Although it is a bit old here and there, the room and hallway are clean and there is a nice faint scent from the hallway. The gym has only a few simple machines, but it is clean. As some reviews mentioned, the air coming in from the window side is a little cold. If you turn up the temperature in the room, it won't be a problem. Overall, I am satisfied, but it would be better if the price was 10-15% cheaper compared to the size and facilities.
