I came in with the hopes of getting a couples massage for my partner and I, and fortunately staff was able to squeeze us in an hour and a half after our arrival. We were created with complementary tea, water, or coffee. We decided to book an hour onsen bath prior to our massage. Everything was a VERY fair price. It was very nice and soothing. Natalia was very professional and a great masseuse. 10/10, would recommend.

App controller is very Science Fiction. Very nice location, 2 my favorite restaurants are very close and a wonderful coffee shop is in front of the entrance. No AC is crazy. Too small room

Good concept, but low quality and execution. The concept and style is on point, but it has not been maintained well. Things are dirty, dusty, faulty, and the service is very poor. The worst thing about Ryo Kan is the security. Everything - from room locks to lights - works through an app. However, the app is so easily accessible and the room passwords are so simple, that it would be so easy for other guests to access your room. Along with the fact that half the room safes don’t work and no replacement is offered or considered - just a “yeah sorry, it doesn’t work” - we did not feel secure in this hotel. There’s also extra charges everywhere - the “Onsen” is extra, but is just a few bathtubs placed on the roof. No bottled water was included the room, and after phoning front desk, they offered some - for about 10x the price it would cost to walk to the corner shop - awful for a city where drinking the tap water isn’t recommended. Saved from a lower review because the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet (I think because half the rooms were empty) and for the good location.
