Excellent service from the moment you get out of your car (the staff is waiting for you to help you with the luggage). The staff is friendly and professional. You can either visit the place for lunch and hot spring or stay overnight. Females can choose a Yukata of your choice. You'll receive a separate Yukata for going to the spa and another as a pajama. There are bath towels, medium-size towels to take home, free socks to take home. Most amenities you'd need like tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face lotion, body lotion, etc. are available My mother and I stayed in Yama Akari. The room was spacious enough for two (might be too crowded for 4). We loved the in-room hot spring. The dinner was Michelin level with artistic details. The only complaint is that the reading room closes by 10pm and you have to call the front desk if you want to use it. Overall definitely worth the price.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights as we were working nearby for a client. Really loved it. The staff were friendly, the food was amazing and the onsen was a welcome relief after a long days work. Highly recommended!

A one of a kind Ryokan, amazing design and fabulous rooms. Private onsen on site. Great food and peaceful surroundings.
