S48 Hotel

Very nice and affordable hotel at the Northern part of CM. Slightly to the North from ring shaped avenue and close to its intersection of the Chang Phuak road. It is not the central location, but the price - value balance is very good. The room is fully functional and spacious. The building is not big and new, but it is clean and cozy inside, not noisy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage was that there was no hand wash soap in the room, but the receptionist quickly resolved that issue. It is 20-25 minutes walk from Maya shopping mall, however, there are sometimes no sidewalks or they are narrow. If you rent a motor bike or a car it is ideal, but I was mostly walking in CM. I will consider this hotel for my next visit to CM. Recommend this hotel!

This place is like 5 stars! For the price you get one of the best hotels I’ve been in. I love it and stayed 2 week and felt just home! Theirs a 24 h reception, room cleaning, amazing staff!!! Its quite but located in a great era of the city, close to nices coffeehouses. Love it!

This hotel was a big disappointment here in Chiang Mai. First the staff are great. The pool is great. The lobby looks nice. That's it. The rooms have old outlets that spark. You can't charge your things unless you get something to make them stay in the wall. The front desk gave me an old extension cord. Also, the only outlet is by the refrigerator. Only two. Nothing next to the bed. Also no kind of seating or furniture in the room. I got a room with a good bed. Don't believe the photos on the site. For what they charge you can go stay at a better more luxurious hotel. They staff did their best. But you can't make an omelet without eggs.
