The hosts are genuinely lovely and honest with excellent English. Really good Sri Lankan breakfasts made completely from scratch each day, with good air and very clean basic rooms with fresh and well laundered linen. Good location within walking distance of some of the key sites, but there are a few flights of stairs to be navigated, which might not suit anyone with mobility issues. I gave a wee tip as thanks when I settled the bill and shortly after received a knock on my door because they thought I had overpaid. I can't remember that happening before on my travels!

I went alone to visit Anuradapura. This place is highly secured located in the town. Since the owners also living in same building they manage it very well and they are very friendly. Easy to buy food and other things needed, just walking distance. Distance from this place to Atamasthanaya less than 03 kms. I am very happy about this place.

Fantastic hotel in the city centre. Rooms are clean and beds have mosquito nets. The hotel has a fantastic rooftop with alle kind of plants, flowers, spices. The only minor is that sometimes the waterpressure is low to nothing. Just a signal to the owner and the pressure is back again. Ohw...I showered with cold water. No idea how to turn on hot water but cold was a gift due to the heat. But of you really want to shower with hot water: ask the owner. The hotel offers different Stuppa and ruin tours and cloth can be washed.
