I’m usually not one to write a review, but I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel, which was advertised as a resort. Upon arrival, the property was under construction, making it feel more like a construction site than a relaxing resort. The online photos were quite misleading. The room was far from the luxury standard we expected. There were burn marks on the carpet, cracks and peeling paint on the bathroom drywall, and the TV was outdated, likely from the 2000s. Additionally, I was not informed about a $30 per night valet parking fee, which added up to $180 over two days, effectively doubling the total cost of our stay. There was also a nightly resort fee that I wasn’t aware of. The valet parking system was quite inconvenient, as it took anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes to retrieve our car, depending on the time of day, making it difficult to come and go freely. To top it all off, the staff member operating the front gate was extremely rude for no apparent reason. Overall, this stay was far from the relaxing, luxurious experience we were promised.

I felt the need to make sure if you are traveling from near or far be Warned!! This resort is not a four star at all. We were just here for business ( conference) and I am an honest traveler. If I experience great service or above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable they will hear about it. This review waited a day before I posted this , shame on Saddle brook management or should I say miss management to put the front line staff to be the mobile complaint department. I have experienced more pleasurable experiences when I was travel via the military, that said the rooms were like staying at great grandmas house odor included. Construction was supposed to be done or wrapping up ah big No! Not only was it not wrapped up more than bargained for. The purpose for the trip was a business conference, the keynote speaker was being introduced a the fire alarm goes off. This was the second day it went off ( two day conference). I could go on and on about amenities closed, parking and confusion of checkin , golf cart shuttle and they have you only one restaurant open. Sorry but not sorry piss poor planning guests suffer.

I wouldn't call it a resort at all. Traveling here for a retreat, the first impressions were fine, but the rooms were absolutely disgusting. The pull-out mattress and the curtains were yellowing, and even the wallpaper was splitting. Huge black stain on our pull-out mattress, as well as several unidentifiable stains everywhere. The shower spout is damaged and rings out a constant shrill sound that is headache-inducing, which doesn't even fully work. Hot water is inaccessible. The shower amenities weren't even replaced, were aged, and we found hairs on it, presumably from the last guest(s) that had stayed here. We spent an hour looking for bugs, and due to the state of the room we found it in, we have to sleep in fear for what could be hiding within the mattress or walls. I was really excited to stay in a resort, but I'm ultimately disappointed in this place, and should have checked the reviews beforehand.
