Looking for some place within budget which is peaceful nature friendly clean and without much ado then go for it . Not too much expectations plz. They have a cafe with an offbeat feel u may try.... Keep the place clean it's a responsibility... This property is close to Colva beach...

The rooms here are spacious and hut like. I stayed here in monsoons , so rain drops fall on your bed through the hut above. It's not well covered. Location is decent and 1 km away from colva beach. You need to walk quite a bit to get some food or any emergency. Breakfast rates are high , options are limited. There's an army like rule here that if you order tea after 10 AM, then you won't get it. However, they favour some guests and give them tea or breakfast even if it's 11 or 12 PM. Check out time is 12 PM but they keep knocking your door starting 10 am and ask you to leave. If some friends come to meet you then it's not allowed because they have this insecurity that the friend is gonna stay with you in the room without permission. S Staff and housekeeping people are extremely rude, you have to ask them for water and towel and toiletries, they don't give you on their own ( read other reviews on this). They lie to you that rooms are booked but actually rooms are available. They ask you to leave without notice. The only thing nice here is Alex's attitude. He is a helpful and polite guy. Please do not stay here. It's very insulting. The owner doesn't speak to anyone even if requested. She thinks that her property is some heritage building or a Manhattan residence, and carries a lot of bs attitude. ***Edit after owner's response : The owner thinks he can write whatever, so I'll clarify it. ## The guests who visited had their ID cards in place. They even produced it when asked for , at the reception. A guest of mine wanted a room desperately because it was monsoons and heavy rains, wanted to stay there for night as it was not possible to drive car in that rain, he was going to Cansaulim, but I suggested your cottage to him, for stay. You charged him a hefty amount , as it was raining and getting late, you took advantage of that situation , he did oblige and pay whatever was asked for. He gave his ID, I'm sure no one is allowed to stay in any part of any hotel anywhere in India without an id proof. ## There were rooms available, despite that , you cancelled my guest's booking saying rooms were unavailable. You even asked me to leave, without notice. Your staff is very rude as highlighted by others as well here, so no, no polite reminders about leaving.They tell the guest 3-4 times to leave. I know what polite reminders are !! ## Tea was served to other guests after breakfast time (10 AM) got over, so don't give me that. Manju and Ganga , both ladies working there even told me, ''madam apko kyun mana karte hai, pata nahi, hum toh naukar hai kya kar sakte, apko chai nahi milega ". They denied tea to me at 10:05 AM but served tea to other guests who asked for it at 10:30 AM. ## As others have pointed out, WiFi doesn't work here, the electricity back up doesn't work here most of the times and you have to keep asking for towels and toiletries unlike other hotels. So, please cut your crap. You are yourself unaware of what's happening in your own cottages. If you become a little considerate and honest, and speak to the guest over call when they need you, ( which you don't want to as pointed by me above), you'll get a reality check. Shameless owner.

Location is good, close bybto colva beach and accessible. Rooms are decent. But their service is very poor. We had pre booked the room by directly contacting the place, and had informed that we will ve arriving early morning so requested for early check-in. They agreed during booking but when we arrived they straight out said that no rooms are available for early check-in and denied having agreed to the same. They were adamant and refused to help us out. We would have wasted an entire day. Also, during booking, they mention usual check-in time as 12pm, but on arrival they say it is 2pm!!! And they want full payment before they hand us the keys to the room. My advice- do not book here. If booking, make sure you get everything in writing, do not trust their words. It was a very bad experience for us. Also make sure to ask for the daily complimentary water bottles as they will not give that voluntarily
