Sai Gon Dong Ha Hotel

I stayed here overnight during my trip to the central highlands. It was a very pleasant experience to stay here. Spacious room, plenty of amenities, good park view, plenty of parking lots. The only problem I faced was that there are no good restaurants nearby. You may need to walk around 700m downtown. Friendly and cooperative staff. Great breakfast.

The river view was absolutely stunning, and the staff were friendly and quick to help. However, I did find a mouse in my room, though the staff responded fast, the situation was a bit unsettling. There were also some room issues: no hot water, slow Wi-Fi, and a closet that wouldn’t close. I appreciated the gesture of a voucher at checkout, but it didn’t quite make up for everything.

If you wish to do time travel to a distance past when Vietnam was simple and visitors few, come to dong ha Saigon hotel. Everything is old, from the swimming pool to the reception area. Put a few broken stationary bikes in a dim lit room and bingo you can have a gym. Rooms are large and clean. Toilets are well maintained. The bath gel is sus though. Rooms have good views of sunrise over the river and highway 1. The area is quiet at night and you wonder where everyone has gone. But the staff are nice.. like in simpler times.
