I recently stayed at Sai Vishram, Bangalore, and had a very distressing experience. After dining at the hotel’s restaurant, I suffered from severe food poisoning, which resulted in me missing my scheduled flight on the same day. My condition was so serious that I had to be hospitalized. Not only did this cause immense physical discomfort, but I also suffered a financial loss due to my missed flight to Germany and medical expenses. To make matters worse, I later learned that I was not the only guest who experienced similar symptoms or foreign particles in food. When I raised this issue with Management and GM Mr. Sukand Shetty, I was met with complete denial rather than concern. Instead of taking responsibility or even investigating the matter, he outright dismissed my complaint. This lack of accountability and disregard for guest well-being is deeply disappointing. A hotel must prioritize food hygiene and guest safety, yet my experience suggests otherwise. I strongly urge future visitors to be cautious when dining here. Until the management takes appropriate action to address food safety and guest concerns with professionalism, I cannot recommend this hotel.
