Good afternoon, we vacationed with friends and two families in a cottage in Finland, we really liked everything. A very pleasant atmosphere, made with taste and for people, you can have a good rest here. The children constantly ran to the playground - there was a trampoline and swings. We tried playing table tennis. The little ones were constantly fiddling around in the sandbox. I liked that there was also a sandbox near the house - while the older children ran to the playground, my child and I could build sand castles right next to the house. The adults rode bicycles regularly. From time to time we heated a real coastal sauna, using wood. The boat (we had our own boat and our own pier near the cottage) had a motor (small and not very powerful, but there was no need to row with oars). There is plenty to do for both children and adults, and the prices are excellent value for money.

Last weekend we vacationed at the Saima Lakeside cottage. We've been there several times already, but this was our first time in winter and we really liked it. The coolest thing is the slide and makeshift skating rink on the lake. We were told about the skating rink when booking, so we took the skates with us, but the sleds for the slide were in the cottage. We are on vacation as a family with children, so this kind of entertainment is very much in the theme. We really liked everything, thank you very much!

We rented cottage July 2024 and experienced most poor service we had in many years. We are a month in process of complaint management, and after all the troubles we had, the best advice and feedback we can give avoid this place if you can. Besides the fact that cottage itself is nice and well located. The place over past few years have not seen any maintenance and just you will be lucky if nothing brakes over your stay. Most sad that customer service management is poor, especially once you pay your booking. The only real language you can communicate on the phone will be Russian language. If smth goes wrong in the cottage, owners will give you really hard time and leave you with unpleasant experience. Cottage is serviced by some lady, who only answers calls and makes bookings, but seems the one who should care, the owner lives 400km away from cottage, so if smth goes wrong, good luck! And if your problem appears in holiday season, owner will not come and fix, or even try to fix things. This is all based on our recent experience. They know their rights well, thus will prolong complaint process till you decide it is not worth the time. Some concrete examples what we experienced: 1. Sauna is broken in the cottage 135m2, heating max to 40C 2. Shared sauna is of limited use. To trick you more, once you pay booking, they "politely" inform that you are heavily restricted to actually use the shared sauna. 3. Shared sauna lacks proper safety elements, worst example, if one wants to put wood into furnace, opening clutch was broken, or non-existent. Some shower taps were partially broken. 4. If you have additional persons staying, they charge extra, but the additional beds are extremely thin very old matrass, that has bend in the middle which sticks out when you try to sleep and the bed rack is barely holding. 5. Terrace furniture's are deteriorated, only part of chairs is usable, paint is scratched from deterioration from all the furniture, thus you shall cover it before you can sit if you do not want to be scratched. 6. Both grills poorly maintained (gas grill and brick one), we just bought our own, single-use grill to survive. 7. Pier is completely not maintained, thus besides the fact that is was fully dirty from birds excrements and leaves or other dirty things, when walking one had to avoid nails and sticking out wooden parts. 8. The boat that is included in the rent, has not been cleaned ever, the smell of rotten water with mud and dirtiness makes boat unusable. 9. Please check upon arrival that you have enough towels and sheets, as we realized late in the night that owner forgot to deliver required amount. 10. Tried to post this review on thier page. They never approved it. So no honest or negative reviews are published on their page.
