The view from both our room and the sky bar were gorgeous. However the air conditioning in the renovated room was quite old and did not work well. It did not cool our room enough. Breakfast was okay, small selection. The lady at the front desk was helpful so service was good.
We used the Sauna different days and it’s so good;small though and might fit in max. of 4 people. (Please,to all using the sauna:educate yourselves on what you can wear inside the sauna. Sauna is meant to detox you with high dry heat so anything you wear into it ,will be baked including those plastic wears and then you inhale them. Plastic slippery and plastic swimming suits are a no no. You are given a towel for a reason.) Staff were really friendly. Check-in and out was fast. Breakfast was delicious with different varieties of choices and new additions every new day. Room: our room was spacious. The bathroom was very bad with wall mold. We have never been in a hotel both cheap or expensive with mold. You broke the record and that’s very sad especially considering the fact that your hotel is spa hotel and not cheap! Location: great location FYI: No free car park. Expensive car park was right opposite to the hotel. My thought:I don’t understand why a hotel like this won’t have a free car park. If you are looking for a free car park, just drive some mins away to where locals live and you will find. I don’t know how safe it might be but for precaution ,we used the paid expensive car park there.
Event though the rooms seem renovated they lack the much needed noice cancellation as you will hear every single noice made by those around you, especially in the hallway. Although I have a glass stains on my nightstand nobody had cleaned. The rest of the hotel is super dated, ice cold lobby bathrooms with no toilet paper, cracked and shading furniture. Don’t even get me on the spa which consists of: a tiny cold pool with 2 jacuzzi spots, 2-person sauna, small steam room full of chipped tiles and mold; instead of beds there are exactly 10 chairs for all customers. Everything seems dated and dirty. The parking also too small for the capacity of the hotel leaving you to search for a space yourself-not an easy task at the seaside. To have a parking and spa capacity that doesn’t correspond to your hotel capacity to me is outrageous and is making people have fights with each other for every spot! The breakfasts - mediocre at best. No big tea mugs, only small coffee ones; scrambled eggs full of shell pieces; the pastries tasted old and nasty; no yoghurt option and no plant base milk, no bacon, no chocolate, none of the more attractive Bulgarian options like mekitsi, French toast or pancakes - just very obvious minimal effort! Don’t even get me started on the fitness, which left the hands black due to rust and costs additional 5lv/hour!! The only good thing here is the view. We are disappointed, our holiday ruined and our money’s worth - not met! The fact that there are thousands of excellent spa hotels and villas out there you can pick, I would recommend spending your money elsewhere
