This is a nice clean property and in close proximity to universal studios japan. You can plan to book a shuttle through hotel to Universal studios. The staff was friendly and the morning Japanese buffet was super delicious with variety of options
Among the characteristics of Japanese hotels, there are no bottled water in the room, but there are two bottles each. It is a little far from the main street, so it is slightly less accessible, but if you go down underground, there is a convenience store, so it is easy to get what you need if you move a little. The breakfast buffet is just basic.
It's a really beautiful hotel, and we were able to add 2 futons to our room for our kids. The whole area seems a bit deserted, but we were there during the new year holiday, so that might have been the reason. There is a convenience store just under the hotel, which is quite useful. The room was too hot, and though we could turn the heater function on the AC off, we couldn't change it to cool air, or just regular ventilation. We had to open the door to vent the room The breakfast was ok. The Japanese selection was good and varied. They also had some western foods, but they weren't as good (except for the croissants, they were pretty darn good!) The view from our room was great, and the price of the room with breakfast was very good. All in all, considering the price and time of year, it was an ok experience.
