SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort

This is an exemple, that opinions can be totally diferent, and nothing as a good research to cross as much variables as possible! First I saw the hotel site and become to be very interested to stay here. Than I went to trip advisor and I read the worst about this place. And finally, and luckly, a portuguese magazine (Blue Travel) made a Koh Samui article, and chosed this hotel to stay, and the opinion was very good. After some mails with this magazine, I made my decision - 3 days in Koh Samui, at Muang Kulaypan Hotel! This hotel is located in an excellent area of Koh Samui, close to the beach, restaurant and pubs, but away enough from the crowds, speacilly away from the noise of the water motor bikes. The rooms are modern and stylish (it could just have a little more design), the swiming pool is excellent and relaxing with a sitting area inside), there is a lot of staff people, and one detail that become one of our favourites of the travel - the wooden cabanas! We had the breakfast there, laid, and relaxing, just wonderfull. And the restaurant was very very good. One more thing, the 3 days planned to stay here, become 5 ;)

Tropical spot at beautiful beach! Nice hotel with awesome "black" swimmingpool

Have very find memories of this place. Eclectic artistic thai and farang guest. Good beach cabanas for daytime chilling and nighttime eating. A good authentic dance troupe. Not touristic. Nice little beach. Not good for swimming though. Great pool. Watch your head though..avoid rooms near the road. Upstairs near the beach is best..
