Salalah Rotana Resort

Great resort especially for families with kids. Good sized rooms all with balconies or terrace. Restaurants in resort are very good and their breakfast buffet is excellent. Nice swimming pools and good spa and gym. Great location as it's within Hawana salalah destination with access to the marina area and other restaurants. 20 minute drive to city center which is OK if you don't need to be in city.

Pros: • The property is exceptionally beautiful, with well-maintained surroundings. • Guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. • Breakfast offers a good variety and caters to different tastes. • The chefs are courteous and accommodating, willing to customize dishes based on individual preferences. • Facilities and amenities are of a good standard. • Convenient direct access to the beach. Areas for Improvement: • It is challenging to reach the front desk via phone; most in-room speed-dial functions, including the emergency line, are non-operational, except for the dining line. • Front office staff appear to have limited customer service training, which impacts the overall guest experience. • Feedback provided to the staff does not seem to be acknowledged or addressed, raising concerns about whether there are established processes for handling guest comments.

It was bad experience when it comes to room cleaning it is really bad when I received the room it was dirty floor was not cleaned also my kids got the rooms dirty there was bad spots on the bedsheets and overall cleaning in the entire hotel is bad every where you get dusty and you feel it’s not clean. When it comes to service of golf car you don’t know it will come after hours or maybe it will not come specially if you want to go for breakfast simply the hotel location and views are great but the service is the worst I ever experienced in 5 star hotels around the world, for car parking it is disaster may it take 30 minutes and you shouldn’t ask for your car from your room you need to come to the lobby and stay in hot weather and you get shower from the humidity to receive your car they is no place you can stay in AC. I can tell you the worst experience of service you can get in this hotel
