pillows comfy, room clean, and having a bathroom to yourself is a big plus. great for coming back to after the winter feast. just note that the walls are paper thin so you’ll hear anyone outside the room (bring earplugs maybe)

Extremely Disappointing – Misleading Booking and Rude Staff Our booking at Salamanca Wharf Hotel included on-site parking, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. But when we arrived, there was no parking available. After a long day of travel, we called the after-hours staff—only to be met with rudeness, no solutions, and eventually they hung up on us. We felt completely helpless that we left and booked a room at another hotel. This completely soured an otherwise amazing trip to Tasmania. For the price, this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Would absolutely not recommend.

Very Disappointing – No Parking, Rude After-Hours Staff We booked the Salamanca Wharf Hotel for a weekend trip to the Salamanca Markets, and chose it specifically because parking was included—something we paid for in advance. However, when we arrived around 5pm, there was no parking available. When we called the after-hours staff for help, we were shocked at how rude and unhelpful they were. They offered no solution, no alternative parking options, and instead of trying to assist us, they hung up on us mid-call. It was an incredibly frustrating experience, especially after a long day of travel and with no clear idea of where to park in a very busy area. The hotel’s lack of preparation and poor customer service completely soured our stay. If you’re booking here expecting parking or even basic courtesy, be warned—you might be left dealing with unprofessional staff and no help at all. Not what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point. Would not stay here again
