Salamander Beach Accommodation Adults Only

This was a little getaway for just myself and I stayed in Room No. 1. The cleanliness was impeccable and the room was perfect. Really enjoyed the heated pool with spa bubbles in the corner. Owners are really lovely and couldn't do more for you. I didn't use the BBQ personally but it would have been great as it huge and a very good one. This is central to everywhere but also secluded and quiet. Cannot wait to go back. 😁

What a wonderful experience! Lynne and Darryl are the most beautiful hosts. The rooms are large and well equipped. Close to all the great features of the local area. Plus, it was a bargain! I can't recommend highly enough.

My husband and I recently spent 3 very relaxing days enjoying the Poolside apartment and will happily stay there again. The owners, Lynne & Darryl, are very helpful with local information and keep the resort in tip-top condition - the heated saltwater pool was the highlight of each afternoon after spending the day discovering the beauty of the area. The apartment itself is quiet large with kitchen facilities, a very comfortable queen-size bed (although a king size would have been our preference), 3-seater lounge and a dining table. The bathroom was also a good size with a shower, toilet, vanity, heated towel rail (great to finish drying your towels and swimmers) and plenty of towels, soap etc. As a "home-away-from-home" for a couple of days, we pretty well packed everything we needed for breakfast, snacks and drinks with only one trip needed at the local "convenience" store for a couple of items. We highly recommend the local pizza shop but were very disappointed in the local fish & chip shop. The Italian restaurant in Nelson Bay, Sienna's, provided plenty of excellent fresh food and great service. Thanks Lynne & Darryl for looking after us - highly recommend!
