S'Alqueria

This hotel was absolutely perfect warm, welcoming, and incredibly cozy. One thing to note: a large number of guests are Korean probably around 70%. The building, over 100 years old, was fascinating and offered a unique and charming experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we loved the terrace where you can enjoy a bottle of wine. On Wednesday evening, dinner wasn’t available at the hotel, which was a bit of a downside. It would also be nice to have a wider selection of wines. Still, the hotel itself was wonderful and truly offered a special experience. I would definitely recommend this over a typical city hotel — it’s something different and memorable.

Had a great experience and intend on going back, but I felt the need to put 2 stars for service as a warning because the website doesn't highlight the fact this is a self-service hotel. There is no restaurant (it is a caterer that only operates some days of the week), which means if you get a room without a kitchen you will need to drive somewhere else. Breakfast is the only meal they will provide some days. There is nobody there to make drinks for you or order snacks. Often there is nobody at reception. You absolutely need a car to make this place work (many taxis won't come up the very rocky road). As long as you understand its limitations it's a wonderful place.
