From the moment we arrived at Seagull Studio, it was clear this was going to be an exceptional stay. The suite itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and charm. Every detail had been considered, from the cozy, high-quality linens to the well-stocked kitchen and the tasteful décor that made the space feel instantly like home. What truly set this experience apart, however, were the hosts, Linda and John. Their warmth and genuine friendliness made us feel less like guests and more like cherished friends. They’ve mastered the art of hospitality—attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a smile, a helpful recommendation, or a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel truly special. Whether it was the small, considerate amenities or the peaceful, inviting atmosphere they’ve created, Seagull Studio exceeded every expectation. If you’re looking for a place that combines first-class comfort with heartfelt hospitality, this is it.

We have been finishing one month trip in Seagull studio and I can not really imagine a better place to end our holiday. you will find everything you need in the apartment (including some surprise welcome snack and wine!). It is also just a 2 min away from beautiful park where you can observe seals, sea lions and otters. you can book a whale watching tour from Sooke which is super convenient. If you are looking for a place to relax or have a spot from which you would explore amazing nature of Vancouver island Seagull studio is a place to stay at!

Staying at seagull for me was probably better than any 5 star hotel. The attention to detail, the comfy mattress, the fully stocked kitchen and the complimentary wine and cookies were a delight!! I’m love that they had bikes, picnic bags and toques to borrow which made our stay even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
