A clean and well-maintained hotel. Very friendly staff! We were pleasantly surprised from the very beginning when we were welcome at the hotel with drinks and dinner. Additionally, a bottle of wine was waiting for us in the room. At the end of our stay, we received a beautiful gift and a thank-you note from the hotel, which was really charming. The hotel is located in a quiet area, near the beach.

Such a nice stay with lovely employees. There are very friendly. Margaritha you are a big investment for this hotel. Also Maria from the bar. Very good guide and such a warm person. The food was very delicious and tasteful. Karlovasi is a quite location if you want to feed your soul. The rooms are clean. Come and get this experience by your own

Travelled with Apollo. I have to give my honest review. I have been to a lot of places, islands in Greece with 5-star hotels etc. I must say this hotel markets itself for being a 4-star hotel. This hotel is nothing near 4-stars. Before booking this hotel I have read the reviews and reviews seemed okay. I had a bad feeling before going to this hotel. Upon arrival, I was shocked. This hotel looks nothing like the photos. 1. The beach on Booking and Apollo looks nothing like the beach in the photos. The beach has a red/yellow flag always and no lifeguard is there in case of emergency. The beach is full of sharp large stones and the water has a lot of waves which makes it hard to take a nice and quiet swim. 2. Looking at the photos it seems like the hotel has a private beach, but you have to cross a road in order to get to a beach. 3. This road is super noisy during the day and night. We stayed a room with a “view” to the beach and it was very diffucult to take a little nap during the day and also sleep at night due to the traffic outside. 4. The hotel seems quite old. There are some places you can see where it clearly needs urgent repairs due to safety. 5. The food was definitely not something to brag about. Around where they would put plates I have found hairs. Buffet containers were of plastic that could barely be closed. If I could descripe the food I would call it frozen Lidl food if not worse. 6. Drinks at the bar were filled up to half and rest was ice cubes - the glasses were super small and made of plastic and they were stacked at the bar yellow. You could easily tell they were old glasses. 7. They write the hotel is renovated I don’t see it. The hotel seems very old. 8. The pool seemed dirty and not cleaned. 9. Tables and chairs outside in dinning area were plastic. 10. Karlovasi is like a ghost town and there is almost no people. The city feels dead. No shops only one supermarket near the hotel. In general the place and hotel seemed boring for a stay. The hotel for a stay is expensive and is so far the worse hotel I have stayed at. My family and I have booked 2 weeks (july 2025), but decided to leave after only 3 days due to the noise, food, accomodation and beach! Our money was lost, but we decided to leave the hotel to a botique hotel in Samos Town which is 3+ stars hotel and you can easily tell a huge difference. This 3+ star hotel is much better than Samania Inn in every aspect. Lastly I would say if you stayed at this hotel before and have those standards and liked it then OK. But if you are booking based on reviews and photos like my family and I did, please do yourself a favour and think twice before booking. I would not recommond nor come back to this hotel ever.
