We stayed one night at Samann Grand after arriving late into Malé, and it was absolutely ideal. The staff were exceptional — nothing was too much trouble, and they made everything easy and welcoming. A great place to recharge before heading to the islands. Thank you!
We were at this property for our honeymoon with relax get away from hectic long wedding process and we had great experience with good view. All the staff members were kind, humble and helpful. Its located in the middle of the city, so easy access for hoping into different island. Nearest to airport which is another key factor. Overall good experience pleased with the hospitality provided by the staff members. Only one thing need to be consider is its next to mosque so during their prayer loud noise will be there in speaker but no disrespect to religion they gotta do what they need to. Overall good experience with affordable prices. Staff- Ashim, balaji and entire crew, they were kind and helpful to make our staycation smooth and memorable
We stayed in the super deluxe double room with ocean view and balcony. The room was small for 2 people but considering the size of the island itself, it’s probably understandable to have hotels on a smaller scale. The balcony view was really nice as we could the sea from our room and nearby residential area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel gets more visitors than I would have thought. The lift was an issue as it worked very oddly. It would take some time for it to arrive, as it would either go all the way to the top floor or all the way to the bottom floor before arriving at yours. The restaurant on the top floor had one of the best menus in Male and the price was reasonable. Breakfast options were not plentiful but I would imagine the majority visitors stay here for a short time, so was not a huge issue for us. The road outside the hotel is narrow and motor bikes do drive by, so do keep an eye out. All the main sites are within walking distance and can be easily reached via the main or side streets.
