Samford Lakes Rural Accommodation

We had an absolute blast at this gorgeous venue, bringing together 3 generations of family from all over and utilising the whole site for a long weekend party. The rooms were beautifully presented and appointed, the grounds glorious and immaculate, the pool a delight, and we enjoyed all of the other amenities and activities too. We appreciated the non-intrusive and good natured support from Barry and Judith very much. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful spot perfect for a romantic weekend, a group getaway, or a catch-up with friends. Judith was amazing to deal with, very patient and helpful while we booked in accommodation for 15 people. Between the pool, pizza oven, sauna, tennis court, and lake we had plenty to keep everyone busy. The views were stunning which made it such a great place to sit down and have a few drinks. The pool house and Barn exceeded our expectations in every way, and the resounding feedback from our group was that they couldn’t believe they’d never heard of the location before and that they were going to be telling everyone that’s looking for a place to stay that they should check out Samford Lakes. We will definitely be returning for more weekends away in the near future.

We stayed in the Spillway Cottage for two nights on our honeymoon in January - such a beautiful cabin and location! Everything was beautifully clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would recommend some black-out curtains for the main living/dining area where the bed is - the room was flooded with light by 4:30-5AM, so not great for trying to sleep in a bit. :) Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and the hosts were very kind and accomodating. Lovely stay!
