One of the best and the most exotic spiritual healing hotels in Rishikesh by the Holy Ganges! It's not just a hotel but a haven for numerous exotic birds that will soothe your mind and soul while al fresco dining in the morning hours. You will be engulfed by nature the moment you reach the location. I was lucky because I got to hear a cuckoo singing during lunch. On top of that, the calm sound of the ever-flowing Ganges is always there for your amusement. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch and impeccable. One of the unique and outstanding features of this place is the private beach, which is all-natural! No place in Rishikesh offers or has one. The hotel also has rafting and other extreme sports that aren't included in the stay (you have to pay separately for that). And if you are lucky, you will hear the call of barking deer during the midnight hours, which makes it even more interesting. I had the time of my life, and I truly and wholeheartedly recommend this place. This place is where heaven meets.
I cannot praise Spashram enough. It's a true sanctuary for anyone seeking serenity and spiritual rejuvenation. The Riverview retreat is breathtaking. Waking up to the call of the birds by the river and the stunning views from the room was a surreal experience. The forest bathing in the bamboo grove will always be an unforgettable experience. Also, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Their hospitality added a personal touch to the whole experience.
Have been a regular visitor to this camp for over fifteen years now and have been priveliged to see the love and careful thought that Mr.Inderjit Singh (IJ to his friends) has done to bring the preserve to total eco system to the exclusive resort it is today. If you want to go back to the unspoilt forest and turn the clock back at least 20 years back this is the resort for you. Excellent host, excellent food and drinks to suit your taste and total privacy. I simply love the place.
