Staff and rooms were immaculate, and the view was phenomenal. Will definitely be back here again.
Stayed at a Premium Accommodation in Bathurst. We paid over $430 per night for the accommodation. The cottage was terrific but only giving one star based on poor service. We were only given 1 toilet roll for 6 adults: no spare. I rang to request a spare and was told no we had to buy our own. For that much money you would expect at least ONE SPARE ROLL. Disgraceful.
The staff are just not with it. Our house was cleaned and ready with bags outside by 10am but we were refused keys until 2pm exactly. When we got there they had allocated mid-year university groups interspersed among people trying to enjoy a quiet holiday. Instead of just putting them all in one area away from tourists they then just spent the entire few days harrassing and slowly kicking each house of them off the island. I’m not even getting started about the quality of rooms because I’ve seen better service in the remote outback, let alone a half hour boat trip from a capital city.
