Samui Buri Beach Resort

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were amazing the room and pool were cleaned everyday to a very high standard. Breakfast was lovely and the beach side tables gave us paradise photos every day. The pool was quite deep but very clean and always got a sun bed. Had 2 massages and both times were fantastic. The ladies all had magic hands.

Overall 4/5 stars for us. Pros: • Rooms are spacious. Bed is comfy enough. Has black out curtains. Spacious balcony. Good for families that want to be able to visit/share space. • Beach itself is quiet and pleasant for families. Good place to actually relax. • There are surrounding food options that are affordable and easy to access. Cons/meh: • Hotel itself is a tad outdated and has wear and tear. Not for picky people who prefer everything to be new. For ex: the faucets don’t work very well and our shower does drip/leak water despite being off.

Hello there. I have mixed feelings about this place. My wife and I just spent 4 nights here. It was low season so it was quiet. As a 4 start hotel we expected the rooms to be checked before guest arrival. The bathroom shower wasn't working properly. We mentioned it, they fixed it. We had ants all over the desk in our room. We said something and they fixed it. But this is not how it's supposed to be. Also, the little freezer space in the mini fridge was half way full of ice. It looks like this place needs more love in general. Green areas looked a bit wild, needed more trimming. Also around our private pool. It needed more attention. Staff was awesome. No complaints about that. Breakfast was very limited. Fruits surrounded by flies, juices not fresh and the offering wasn't just not there. The only highlight was the omelette made by a female chef, she gets all my respect. Pastries and bread was not fresh either. They were doing renovation jobs while guest were around. That's not what we want when on holidays. I have to say that they gave us a late check out 2pm no extra charge and facilitated a space for my wife to work for 1h even though we already checked out. This was very nice. Basically fantastic service very poor offering for a 4 start resort. Food was extremely overpriced. Ordering a grab or visiting the restaurant in the surroundings was a better option. You guys need to improve in some many areas. I hope you do. Staff was awesome. This area doesn't need improvement.
