Samui Resotel Beach Resort

Nice hotel in a great location, with good breakfast and large pool. The beach is truly special, with crystal clear shallow water and the free beach beds provided by the hotel. Our family of four stayed in the Superior Sea View Room (rather a Pool View Room) with 2 king beds. The room was bright and clean with large balcony. The bathroom has seen better times and was quite dark, but the water pressure was fine. Despite being on the 2nd floor our room had issues with small non-biting ants - the nice cleaning lady took care of them but they immediately found another ways (moved from the table to the wall behind our beds which was not pleasant as they crawled at the pillows), after another spray attack they disappeared but I am sure they´ll find their way back again. We missed a proper lightning in the room, after sundown it was really shadow. Walking distance to busy Chaweng centre (free shuttle bus is provided as well) but still quiet and relaxed. All-in-one, I would choose the hotel again thanks to its unique location and beach quality.

Lovely clean hotel with exceptional location and amenities. The beach front location is beautiful and probably one of the best on the island. Close to all the action, yet still more than quiet enough to relax. Aside from a little more attention and organisation in the housekeeping dept, the hotel and staff are wonderful. I will def be staying again on my next trip.

So far, our stay has been enjoyable, and the staff tries to cater to guest needs. Nan at the reception desk is a real jewel; helpful, professional, and very understanding - thanks Nan. Maintenance staff, along with housekeeping, is quick to respond to guest concerns. The hotel undergoes renovations daily in preparation for their high season, which can be a little loud or inconvenient. The best rooms are the villa rooms with private pools and ocean/beach views. The other rooms are adequate, but I'd pay extra and only stay here in one of the ocean view villa rooms w/pool. Hotel offers a free shuttle to the town center, which is about 2.5 kilometers away. The hotel bar and restaurant offerings can't compete with the pricing and quality of some of the nearby establishments. The hotel beachfront could use an occasional clean-up as ocean debris accumulates after a few days.
