San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk

We stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio for my annual work conference, and they truly pulled out all the stops. The hotel is beautiful — modern, spacious, and in a perfect location right on the River Walk. The streamlined elevator experience was a fun surprise (seriously, we loved it), and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly helpful and welcoming. From start to finish, everything felt smooth and well-executed. Highly recommend for both business events and personal stays!

Very nice hotel, fantastic service from all staff members. Had a small issue with the room, the shower head wasn't working properly, but it was promptly fixed and I was given bonus rewards points for the inconvenience. River Walk is definitely a must experience and provides countless restaurants and shopping options. Had a few AMAZING meals. Be prepared for the heat if you decide to come in July like I did!

The San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk is a great hotel located right in the heart of downtown San Antonio. It was a great stay from start to finish, and I would absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for a convenient place near the River Walk. The entrance is large, open, and welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The lobby includes a few shops, dining options, and direct access to the River Walk, which makes exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The property itself is quite tall, so depending on your room, you can get a great view of either the River Walk or the downtown skyline. My room was modern, clean, and spacious, which made for a very comfortable stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is the gym. It’s one of the largest I’ve seen in a hotel, and the pool is also a good size. If you’re planning to use the pool, don’t forget to pack your swimwear. What I really loved was how easy it was to access everything. You can get to the River Walk, nearby malls, and a variety of restaurants without even needing to leave the connected area. There’s also a River Walk boat cruise entry point right next to the hotel’s River Walk entrance, which is super convenient. Overall, the location is hard to beat. If you’re visiting San Antonio and want to stay downtown or near the River Walk, this hotel is an excellent choice.
