San Biagio Relais

We had a last minute booking and the price was exceptional, especially for summer. The hotel was so cute and the staff were all very attentive and friendly. Orbetello this summer had an infestation of midges (small flying bugs that could be mistaken for mosquitos but are not) the reason for it was the heat, which has been extreme, threw off the eco system in the lagoon and the predators that usually eat these bugs went elsewhere to escape the heat. There have been articles written about it. The whole town was dealing with it. The hotel and staff took it in stride and never let it get in the way of the hospitality. They made our last minute get away lovely even amongst this insane bug situation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the region. The rooms have a mix of antique and new furniture, sizable bathrooms, and air conditioning which is everything in the summer. There are parts of the rooms that are a little dated but the price was so on point that it balanced out. Here are some photos of how cute the hotel is and the surrounding town which is charming. I should also say they welcomed my dog, which was wonderful for us.

We stayed in this hotel, the hotel is of a good standard, the breakfast is impressive, the portions are very large and tasty, the service is at a high level, courtesy, professionalism and friendliness. The only complaints are that the internet does not work well and the arrangement of the rooms, the room we stayed in was dirty, especially the bathroom, but overall I can give positive feedback about this hotel.

This hotel was very old and tired. The room was dirty with a distinct mold smell. The shower was hopeless. I found long black hairs on my bed spread and I am bald! My HVAC did not work and when I tried to adjust it the controls fell off the wall. The staff was mostly helpful as one young lady drove me to a car rental agency and was very pleasant.
