Stunning view and central location! Just because of the incredible view to the city in the mountains this hotel is a great pick. I have spent there more than one week and very much enjoyed their services like bike rental, fitness and wellness. You should try out the excellent concierge service that always has great ideas where to go when. Breakfast and food quality is very high and the associated service very friendly and professional. Only area for improvement was the room service which sometimes reacted a bit slowly. Overall very much recommended.
Stayed in a great suite and the hotel staff was really amazing at making sure my girlfriend had a great birthday! The room had such great views and the 21 Lounge staff were also very friendly and attentive. The only downfall was the El Cid restaurant. My medium rare steak came medium well and the waitress forgot part of our order. It also took about 15 mins to get our drinks (a bottled beer and a bottle of Coke), with 5 servers and 9 tables to take care of. It felt excessive.
Confirmed reservation means nothing. I had a confirmed reservation weeks in advance, only to arrive and find out that my party and I were moved to another hotel (and some of our reservations canceled). Neither my travel agent nor I were informed before our arrival at 10:30pm. We were offered a free dinner which we declined due to the hour. Eventually, one night in the new hotel was comped (the lesser Sheraton which is next door). The manager was as nice as can be expected, but the wholesale cancelation of our reservations was unprofessional and lack of prior communication frustrating.
