5/5 – Exceptional Service and Immaculate Stay! As a receptionist at Marriott, I know what excellent customer service looks like, and Serena truly impressed me. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were next-level. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and taken care of. The hotel itself was spotless, super clean and well-maintained throughout. Plus, the location is perfect just a short drive from the beach. This is easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, and Serena’s top-notch service made it even better. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at San Diego Marriott Del Mar for 5 nights during a business trip. Jason, the Guest Service Manager, and his front desk staff, Serena and April in particular, exemplified exceptional hospitality and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming demeanor. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond, whether it’s assisting with special requests, or ensuring a smooth check-in/ out process, demonstrated a true dedication to guest satisfaction. They played a key role in making my stay truly enjoyable and me feel like a valued Marriott Bonvoy member. The housekeeping staff also did a fantastic job ensuring my room is clean and spotless upon my return. I look forward to my return trip/ next stay soon.

This is one of the nicest hotel visits I've had in a long time. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and smelled lovely. The pool area was well maintained and the scenery was picturesque. There were beautiful lounge chairs, patio furniture, and cozy fire pits in the pool area that was ideal for day or night. All amenities worked well without any issues. I personally love the reading lights on the side of the bed so while my child was sleeping I could read without disturbing her. The service of this hotel was outstanding. My family and I were treated with caring employees that were kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and personable. We were warmly greeted by Jason outside of the hotel round about who helped my mother, child, and I load our luggage onto a luggage cart. Entering the hotel, we were lucky enough to have the manager Dave assist service desk employee when we requested for a room with a bath tub. He was kind, friendly, empathetic towards our needs and helped us secure a room tub for my water loving five-year-old during an extremely busy weekend. We visited the breakfast lounge numerous times, or as my daughter loved to call it, the "cafe" during each morning. The food was outstanding- especially for a hotel- and had a wide variety of items to choose from. My family and I absolutely loved Lyhong who worked there. She was very friendly, polite, funny, and easy to converse with. To the point that my daughter looked forward to seeing her every morning we were there. The location of this hotel was ideal because my mom sees a specialist right down the street from this hotel. In addition, the freeway entrance was easily accessible to enjoy our beach days or wherever we needed to go. I can’t praise this hotel and their employees enough. We have a wonderful vacation and look forward to returning to this specific hotel again in the future.
