San Domenico Palace Taormina A Four Seasons Hotel

We love staying at the Four Seasons hotels - and this hotel did not disappoint! We had a wedding to go to in Riposa and stayed here for several days! The suites are amazing, the food is incredible and the staff are brilliant! Thank you for accommodating us and for a lovely holiday! We will be back!

I had a lovely stay at the San Domenico Palace. Too bad I couldn't stay longer without sending myself to the poorhouse. Although my room was on the smaller side and in direct line of sight to a restaurant balcony, the view was still spectacular. Even the bathroom had a great view. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating and the property itself is superb, however I think so much more can be done to the courtyard. It's a bit underwhelming. The breakfast buffet was also very nice, even though you pretty much have to arm wrestle to get a table on the balcony. No one seems to leave. The pool is also super tiny for the size of the hotel, especially since the beach aka all rocks, no sand, is not close. If you want a spot, go early.

This was my second visit to San Domenico Palace, Taormina, a location that holds a special place in my heart as it was where I got engaged during my first trip. The experience this time was just as enchanting, if not more so. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the stunning rooms, spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The meticulous attention to detail in the decor truly enhances the overall experience. What truly makes San Domenico shine, however, are the exceptional people who work there. Our dining experience at Anciovi was a highlight of our stay. The staff at the restaurant were simply amazing; they made us feel like part of a family. Denise the assistant manager, approached us, asking how she could make our stay even better, which truly exemplified the level of service and care provided. Our waiter, Luca, was attentive and had a wealth of knowledge about the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and the meals we enjoyed were nothing short of spectacular. Each dish we tried reflected the rich flavors of the region, and it was clear that a lot of thought and love went into the preparation. Furthermore, Vito, the bartender, was a delight. He crafted some wonderful drinks that complemented our meals perfectly and made us feel exceptionally welcomed during our evenings at the bar. I wholeheartedly recommend The Four Seasons to anyone looking for a magical getaway in Taormina. Be sure to dine at Anciovi for an unforgettable culinary experience; you won't regret it! If you’re looking for a place where luxury meets genuine hospitality, this is it. I can’t wait for my next visit!
