San Francesco al Monte

Stunning. The hotel is an old monastery with amazing art work all around. Make sure you explore all the floors and find the old cathedral. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent. The views of the city and Vesuvius are great. Be sure to go to the top floor and visit the pool and waterfall. The rooms are very generous and have air conditioning. Location is a bit out, taxi is needed but you can walk down a TON of stairs to get to the Piazza Carita area where all of the great food is located. Find more at The Amore Life.

I booked this on the spot, I saw there were rooms available online but rather than use a third party site we just showed up without a reservation and they were SO kind, and gave us a great room with a sea view for a very reasonable price. The roof terrace and pool are so beautiful! The hotel itself is charming and historic. A total gem I’m so happy I stumbled upon! I will stay here every time I come to Naples now.

Wonderful! We stayed here with our kids (13 and 15) to visit Napels. The hotel used to be a monastery, and it really shows. I highly recommend wandering around on the 3rd floor on which you can get lost in the corridors and most unique rooms. The staff was extremely friendly, the view was phenomenal, the swimming pool was great and the food and drinks were very good. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and were served perfectly well! Highly recommended!
