From the moment we arrived, the front desk experience set the tone for our stay. Justin H., front desk employee, who helped us was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. He went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was seamless and even arranged for us to have a phenomenal ocean view room that absolutely took our breath away. The view was stunning — sunrise to sunset, it was pure serenity. His genuine kindness, efficiency, and care made us feel truly valued as guests. This kind of service is what turns a good stay into a memorable one. Justin is super accommodating. We need more people like him because his positive attitude and humble personality shines bright. We are eager to return already! We will for sure come back!
As a Titanium Elite member who has stayed at countless Marriott properties worldwide, I have high expectations when it comes to service—and Marquis at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront exceeded every one of them. I called the hotel early in the morning with a complicated situation, and Marquis handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Despite the early hour, he was attentive, patient, and determined to make sure I was fully taken care of. He made me feel truly valued as a Titanium member—not just with words, but with action. His dedication to service turned a potentially stressful moment into a smooth and positive experience. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with empathy the way Marquis does. Marquis is the kind of team member who sets the gold standard for Marriott hospitality. I hope Marriott recognizes what a gem they have. I’ll absolutely be returning to this property—and Marquis is a big reason why.
I like this hotel for a number of reasons. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the gym is well equipped. There’s a large bar in the main lobby with a full selection and plenty of seating. If you’d rather venture out, there’s a wide selection of restaurants within walking distance and even more if you want to take a 5 min drive. The shuttle service was punctual every time I used it, and the ride to and from the airport took less than 15 minutes. The only downside is the overnight parking, which costs $48 per night.
