We arrived at the hotel late at night, and despite that, the staff was fully prepared to welcome us and ensure our comfort with great kindness and professionalism. The place is beautiful and quiet with a charming, vintage vibe, while the furniture is modern, blending a sense of tradition with a contemporary touch. The location is lovely and relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent in every way. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. I absolutely loved this place and wished our stay could have been longer!
Stayed here to cycle the Stelvio pass. Location is ideal - right next to stelvio experience who you can hire fantastic Bianchi specialissamo road bikes from. Hotel room was comfortable and had a great balcony with views worth the price. Hotel has free and paid parking and a secure lock up for bikes, but I took mine to my room. Breakfast spread was plentiful. Ticked every box I needed to climb the Stelvio. Would recommend.
EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE BED and service issue. My wife and I booked the penthouse, which was absolutely beautiful, with outdoor space and a sauna. However the bed was rock hard. Matteo was very helpful and sent a maid to put toppers on and actually showed us a lesser room (still very nice) with a smaller bed that was more comfortable, but still very hard. We actually opted for the smaller room bc the bed in the penthouse was so awful. When I asked if we could pay the lesser rate (it was around $1000 less for the smaller room) I was told no, the rooms are the same price and the bed is not hard, this is our fault. This was a little shocking. I explained we aren’t looking for anything extra, we are actually downgrading bc the bed is so hard. And I again asked - is your penthouse the same price as a regular room? She said YUP. I then pulled up the rooms on my phone to show the difference in price and that I could book the lesser room right now. They said NOPE that’s wrong that room isn’t available…they then just turned and walked away. I was kind of speechless bc I was showing them their own website. I’ve never been treated like this and lied to with such an obvious lie. It made everything so awkward and the stay was uncomfortable.. We left the hotel 2 days early and moved to Genzianella- which was amazing and the staff was so so nice! I must mention that Matteo was very very nice and helpful. I probably would not have been so upset and ok to pay the higher rate if they didn’t lie and blame us for the hard bed, telling us it isn’t hard at all. The interactions really ruined our stay. They did comp us using the spa, bc they charge you an extra $50 a person to use the facilities. Which is kind of ridiculous. I would not recommend staying here
