San Want Residences Taipei

We had a wonderful stay at San Want. While the room was somewhat basic, we had everything we needed, AC was quiet, beds comfortable and clean, big bathroom. Staff was wonderful and very responsive and kind. Breakfast was delicious! The tea and coffee was just excellent, and we are picky. We will be back when visiting Taipei.

A great stay at San Want Residences. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the sunken bath and the shower. Our room had an amazing view of the park which added to the experience. The gym room was small however all the equipment was immaculate, it had AC, bottled water and towels available. The staff were very friendly and happy to help, especially Stanley. He provided us with lots of helpful information that made our onward journey much smoother and more efficient. The MRT was a short walk away in both directions, and it's super easy to catch an Uber. The only improvement could be the WiFi, for a hotel of this standard we expected it to be quicker. It didn't affect our stay too much though. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in Taipei and want a great hotel experience.

Very clean traditional style hotel with exceptionally spacious and nice rooms. I noticed that the service was very professional but the friendliness and hospitality of the staff was not consistent towards me. Some of the staff members were very hospitable and kind while others were just cold and stern almost as if there was no regard for any appreciation. Perhaps I didn’t look like their usual older demographic customer so they didn’t feel the need to but I still appreciated the staff members that did treat me with a little more hospitality and kindness than the others. I have already decided to return in August with my mother so I will be eager to see how the service attitude will be on my second visit.
