Sanbonani Resort Hotel

Absolutely lovely. A homely family feel to the resort. Great location for Kruger too. The staff were wonderful too. The lodge we stayed in was well appointed and very spacious, but could do with a bit of TLC to brighten it up a bit.

It's what you expect a lodge resort to be. Nice rooms, great spacious patio and built in braai. However, if you don't have kids, don't even think of going. You cannot enjoy a calm and relaxed swim because there are literally children everywhere. The food was great and the staff at the restaurant and bar are great but the waiters seem to serve based on their preference. I had to watch more than one waiter walk by me over and over giving service to a certain demographic and not once approaching me. I had to go to the bar over and over because I was tired of waiting to be served. It's a shame and I truly hope it isn't racially charged. Other, nice place.

Overall a great experience except communication skills of Helena. We were not informed that we had to move units in the middle of our stay. There was not even an attempt to accommodate us in the same unit from day 1. And all was blamed on our holiday club. Professionalism lacking. We travel the world and have never had experienced this in any other country. As the manageress of the resort Helena is supposed to display Ubuntu especially if her work is to communicate with people, which she can obviously not do in a respectful manner.
