It's ok, not great. Rooms were comfortable, but outdated and in need of some TLC Arrived on a hot day to a closed cabin, it was stifflingand took ages to cool down. The pool, whilst clean looking, was not filtered, had a weird texture to the water and was extremely cold, turned skin pink when you put your foot it. I booked specifically for the pool, but we ended up at the local pool instead, which was cleaner and a comfortable temperature to swim in, kids had a great time. Annoyingly, there were so many comments of 'it will cost extra' ie: if you have excess rubbish, I will cost extra. If you don't clean dishes and floor before you leave, it will cost extra. There's a way to say that without putting guests off. It was nice to have a cabin on land, and lovely trees around. We won't be returning.

Extremely disappointing. I have been coming to these cottages for about 10-12 years and have always loved the experience and the management support. (about 10 stays overall) However this time was different. The cottages have changed hands and now come under Stay AU and it is clear they are in it purely to make money, not provide a wonderful experience. Wood is not supplied now and the spa didn't work. Two of the major features I always came back for. The wood box was locked and I was told to go buy my own wood. Just what you need late in the day in the middle of a freezing winter day. When I reported the spa not working they said they would get back to me but didn't. In fact the support team didn't appear to know much about the cottages at all. The main light over the kitchen table didn't work, other lights in bedrooms didn't work. The floors were dirty, the TV cabinet covered in old dust. All the nice little things previous management did where gone. The glass door onto the back verandah no longer had a blocking curtain on it (as it used to) so outsiders could see in at night. One ceiling fan would not work on low setting but was too noisy on a high setting. The verandah still had the chairs but the small table for drinks or eats had gone. There is a hole in the wall beside the fridge that looks like a highway for mice - surely a hole can be blocked off. It's all these little things that have changed along with being charged top dollar. They don't advertise that wood for the fire is no longer provided. I did buy my own wood and the fire was good but it didn't draw properly and I strongly suspect the flue is starting to block up. This is also a fire risk for the units so you would think Stay AU would be on top of this. My five star rating has dropped to 1 star and it's unlikely I will ever return. The region is full of lovely places to stay and if the new management doesn't get their act together quickly they will find business harder and harder. The fact I could book any of the six cabins mid-week shows others are being turned off too. Come on Stay AU. Get your act together. It won't take much effort to get it back to the wonderful place it used to be. I have already found a new place for my next visit.

Disappointed with our stay. The cottage we stayed in was infested with fleas. We had to leave early. Owners have not been responsive to our emails regarding this.
