Sand Diamond Hotel

Its a really great place! People, the cleanliness, the waitresses are excellent, it is well within the ZAONA LIBRE which makes it essential to start after a good breakfast buffet for an early day of shopping! Tv, internet👌💯

This is an excellent hotel. My husband and I stayed here over a week while we were working in Shelter Bay marina. Our room was spacious and very clean and had lovely linens and powerful A/C. The few issues we had were dealt with very promptly. The wifi was mostly good; we lost connection a couple of times and had to ask at the front desk and they seemed to be able to fix it. A huge shout out to Kathia and Madeline at the front desk who were so helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. (In fact, all the staff with whom we interacted with were good.) The pool is nice; I enjoyed a couple of swims. The gym is basic but at least there is one. I appreciated that there was always coffee and hot water/tea in the lobby. We ate a couple of nights at the buffet in the hotel. It was convenient and well priced; make sure to try the soup—delicious. The hotel bar has loud karaoke on the weekends; but it was a chill place to have a drink during the week. (The bar decor felt dated… think of it as retro or kitsch.) The hotel felt very safe and the staff were available to advise on where was safe to go (basically only the Colón 2000 mall and the duty-free zone). We were able to walk directly into the duty-free zone from the backdoor of the hotel. It was fun to see. There is a Burger King, a casino, and a Lebanese restaurant in the same area as the hotel.

I just got back from this hotel my stay ws for 10 days . The rooms definitely need an upgrade there were vry old fashion. A/c we gd. They charge for evry little thing. The staff in the t front desk were pleasant and the guys that open the entry and exit because you get a tiket whn entering and since we wre guest you dnt hve to pay for exiting. The cleaning staff were the worst i have ever encountered, terrible! They have event on weeknds that anybdy can enter on 1st and 2nd flr. Only one pool its looks dirty and foggy went once nvr again. No lifeguard ever doesn’t indicate depths in pool. Very outdated ! They do ur laundry and they chrge fr evry item $2.50 per socks, $3.00 per panty etc.,i traveled with me and my 4 kids , did laundry outsde cme out wayyyy cheaper. They sty ws just ok again cleaning staff ws rude and terrible!!!!!!
