Sand Resort

Such a lovely location, right on the water - I've never woken up to such incredible views, really glad I got to experience it for the first time here. The owners and staff are so lovely and laidback and the food is delicious. I stayed here twice in the space of a week only as they were booked up on the dates I wanted so I booked a different hotel for one night and came back here. Rock Sand Resort will forever be my favourite hotel on White Sand Beach❤️

Good old rock sand resort. I used to stay here all the time before Covid. I was pleasantly surprised that nothing had changed. I can’t speak for the restaurant, I didn’t eat there. But the rooms are also clean and the air conditioning works properly and does not smell. In my opinion, the best rooms are on the second floor, there is a very pleasant breeze. The inconveniences of the lack of a nearby road and the need to walk along the beach about 500 meters are compensated by the presence of good bars where you can spend more than one evening. I recommend it to lovers of the “good old days.”

I didn’t stay at the resort. Only came there for dinner. The restaurant is right next to the beach and has an amazing view and nice atmosphere. Food prices are not bad. A dinner for two was roughly 1000 Baht or roughly 28 Euros (a fried fish, 2 tom yum kha, 2 portions of rice, 3 drinks). Tom yum kha soup was delicious, highly recommend. Fried fish was a bit dry but I didn’t mind. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
