We stayed at this hotel for five nights during our last visit to Tbilisi and had a very positive experience. The room and bathroom were both in a good size. The bad was very comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and everything was very tasty. I especially want to highlight the hotel’s great location. It’s conveniently close to many of the city’s most popular attractions. Both the room and the entire hotel were spotlessly clean and the service was pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended for staying!
Our stay at Sandali Hotel had a few bright spots, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by several disappointing experiences. After a long flight, we arrived late and just wanted to get to the hotel quickly. The driver arranged by the hotel immediately suggested we exchange money and took us to someone who appeared to be a personal contact. We ended up exchanging at a very unfavorable rate, losing around $80–90 each. It felt like a setup, and it gave us a really bad first impression. When we finally got to our room and checked the minibar, we were surprised to find that some of the food items had already been opened. It felt careless and unprofessional. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very kind and understanding. They upgraded us to a better room for our second night, which we genuinely appreciated. That said, we had a serious problem with the air conditioning. It wasn’t functioning properly, and despite calling reception multiple times, it was never resolved. We ended up having a very uncomfortable night in a hot room. Breakfast was another letdown. It’s served in a small, windowless basement room with very limited food options. The setting felt uninviting, and the food was underwhelming — though once again, the staff were kind and doing their best. In summary, while the team working at the hotel were friendly and tried to help, the overall experience didn’t live up to our expectations.
A very expensive place with very little to offer. We booked the glass room for a better view, and the view was good, but as soon as you come out on the balcony, you get hit with very loud noise from the roads Also, my wife tried to take a bath, and water was lukewarm at best. So it left us basically with a bed for 150$ a night with a good view
