Sandcastle Village II a VRI Resort

My friend rented a place for 2 days. Rental was spacious and clean. A/c froze up and was quickly taken care of! View from deck beautiful. I would consider renting!

Rooms did have newer flooring, but they were still somewhat out of date. The only real complaint is that the showers were not clean.. I had to clean them myself. The dishwasher desperately needs to be cleaned due to massive calcium build-up. And THANKFULLY - we only had to kill one roach the entire 7 day stay.. thankfully, there was spray left in the room. Otherwise, ok place to stay.

As near as we can tell, these units were “spun off” from the well worn, Fairfield Harbor Resort and are now “managed” by Bluegreen Vacations. Their “shack-like” store front, check in operation is about three miles from the townhomes. Though we arrived during check in hours, the place was abandoned. Both of the posted telephone numbers we called went to voice mail. None of our calls were ever returned. Two days later we received an email canceling our reservation and refunding our week, without explanation. A horrid experience in every way.
