Sandestin Golf And Beach Resort

This place was honestly beautiful! As soon as we walked in the home smelled clean and taken care of. It felt so safe and calm. Which is what we were hoping for from this experience. The view in the mornings with a morning coffee was so peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this place as well as would absolutely love to return!

This have been our vacation destination for the last 14 years, everything you need is within minutes away great place to golf for those who’d like to do so, ( not me ) great areas to run inside the resort. Overall all condos are well kept with a large variety of room sizes and prices. You won’t regret staying there!

This place is DISGUSTING. Disappointing and disgusting to say the least. They do not clean ANYTHING. The pols are gross, the hallways, the condos. You name it and it is nasty. Weird funky smells. We stayed at the Luau and our room smelled like sewer gas/mold. Whatever it was made me ill - I have severe allergies and sensitivity to mold. They moved us to another room and the tub would not drain and the AC would not work properly. I called for maintenance and never received any help. The tiki bar was closed at the Luau, the pool was always foggy and gross looking. The trek to the beach from the Luau is a hot minute if you have kids and juggling all of their things. The beach chairs we rented were atrociously expensive. The charge included a $75 tip we were unaware of in a gratuity charge they did not tell us about then asked for more tip, which we did to be kind not realizing! They did not help us carry one bag, one towel-NOTHING. They were VERY rude as was the bartender while we bought almost $20 seltzers. The entire experience was truly ridiculous and awful. They don’t upkeep the property at all. The beach house pool they say you can hang out is the widest pool I saw. The bathrooms made me gag when I went in them and I’ve carried 3 kids and do not have a bad gag reflex! They were sick!! Do not stay here! You will waste your money! Maybe during the fall it’s better but during peak season, stay away!
