Fantastic hotel in downtown Fort Worth in the historic Wagner Bank building. Rooms were clean, spacious and surprisingly quiet even with the city street noise below. They have done an incredible job of maintaining the gorgeous historic features, such as the marble work, the teller booths and other art deco details and incorporating this into their modern design. The bar served great cocktails and the service was quick and polite. We stayed there on a whim for a staycation, and would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.
Brian C was the BEST! I truly enjoyed my check in experience with him. Even though it was a very check in time, he was kind enough to assist me with questions and make sure I was comfortable with my stay. Not only was checking a breeze, when I saw Brian around the lobby over the next couple of days, he remembered my name and would address me with a great big smile! He truly was what I would say made my stay particularly memorable! The room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice accommodations.
The front desk attendant was extremely rude and condescending to my friend and I. Being two young women I’m assuming we are not their usual clientele, however we felt very uncomfortable by the way we were very obviously judged. We had already made a reservation, so I’m not exactly sure why we received this reaction. I expected better from all of the reviews. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was spacious and a very pretty design. Parking was relatively straight forward. However the attitude of the front desk attendant made us both feel like we would have rather stayed somewhere else.
