What an astonishing visit! The front desk and housekeeping staff were amazing and Michaela who helped us at the front desk was very special. The room were very clean, and the hotel is well-maintained. We loved all the amenities that this hotel offers. An amazing view to the riverside park and it is a great location near everything in the downtown area. The food at Moxies was great. The standards here at very high and we will definitely return for future stays.

Located across from the Park which is lovely. Great Riverside walk. Rooms are VERY tired. HVAC difficult to adjust accurately. Not enough soap. No bathtub. Sports bar and nice restaurant attached so very convenient. Our tour chose the hotel but if given the choice I would not.

We stayed here as part of a tournament block booking for soccer provincials. The location was excellent based on proximity to our fields and walking distance to shops / restaurants and I would recommend the hotel based on the location alone. However, I had a VERY poor experience when I contacted the reservation line and was trying to sort out the room I had booked through a block booking versus the room I had been assigned (I was spoken to VERY rudely, our team manager was blamed for the mix-up, I was told I should have known that this was the room I was getting when I booked online, and ultimately I was told there was nothing that could be done to help me and my son would not have a bed to sleep on for his tournament). However, when I called the main hotel desk, the lady I chatted with was extremely helpful and had the correct room sorted out for me within half an hour, which implies that the reservation line staff are not helpful and not interested in ensuring that their clients are happy and taken care of for their stay. The hotel overall was clean, aesthetically lovely, and the rooms were of decent size. However, our room was not cleaned during our 4-night stay, despite putting out the card in the morning requesting it to be cleaned. I had to ask two different times for fresh towels to be sent up and one of those times it took almost 15-minutes for the towels to be brought, causing me to be late for the meeting I was headed to. I also saw 2 silverfish in the bathroom towards the end of our stay, which was concerning. While we kept the room tidy during our stay, it would have been nice if it had been properly cleaned. From a sleep quality perspective, the queen bed we had was comfortable, there were lots of comfortable pillows, and the curtains kept out the sunlight when we needed it to. We also had a room with a pullout sofa, which was comfortable for our son (as far as pulls-outs go). We had a park view so we didn't hear the train at all (thankfully) but this was a huge issue for some of our teammates. We came in the middle of July and only once did we see ice water put out by the front check-in desk. There was water in the carafes by the coffee station but this was at a tepid temperature and during the high heat of the afternoon, we were looking for cold water and were told by the front desk staff that we would have to buy a bottle of water from the vending machine if we wanted a cold drink. Overall my stay wasn't terrible, it just wasn't great. I would recommend this hotel to my friends based on the location but would certainly give them a few warnings about what to expect: I would tell them not to book using the reservation line, to bring their own cold water, make SURE the room gets cleaned if they are staying more than a couple of days, and I would tell them to make sure they get a park view room so they don't hear the train.
