Sandman Signature Surrey Guildford Suites

I have now stayed at this location twice. My first time was for an appointment for my stepson. The second time was for appointment for my daughter at the BC Children’s Hospital. Both times we have stayed have been wonderful even during their renovations they have done everything to ensure that our state was comfortable, quiet clean, and most importantly, relaxing, especially through the stress of all our appointments… they checked up on us. They asked if we needed anything anytime we seen any staff member including service staff. We had lovely conversations with everybody and we enjoyed our stay on the penthouse suite this past weekend thank you so much for making our stays so enjoyable and so relaxing during some of the chaos we are currently facing. We appreciate everything you did for us and we will continue to stay with you and all upcoming futures that we need to make our way back down to Vancouver for Thank you so much and I can’t wait for our next stay! Two people that are looking to check in here. It is extremely close to major amenities such as a mall, Walmart and gas stations. There are also some activities to keep you occupied such as the recreational center, which is located right next-door. It has a full gym and aquatic center! The mall has so many stores, and there is also a Cineplex located on Outside of the mall and it has really cool seating

It was our first time in British Columbia.The one thing that made us choose Sandman Surrey-Guilford was the price as well as the fact that each room is good for four people, has a full kitchen and bathroom, a washer and dryer, balcony, AC and 2 Smart TVs. The Free indoor/outdoor parking as well as an on the go breakfast were an added bonus. We arrived a few hours earlier than our check in time but when I called the hotel, they said they were able to check us in early and they even upgraded us to the PH. After a few nights, we wanted to change rooms and stay in a more recently renovated room. This was not a problem with any of the staff we spoke to. After changing rooms, we had an issue with not being able to do our laundry but the staff was able to accommodate us so that we could get it all done before continuning our vacation and going to our next hotel. During our stay, the hotel staff and housekeeping supplied us with everything we needed (paper towels, dish soap, toiletries, laundry detergent etc...). While on our trip to two different provinces, we stayed in 4 different Sandman Hotels and this one was the best. We would like to thank all the staff members that we met and interacted with while we were there. They were all friendly, professional and made us feel comfortable. They answered all of our questions about places to visit and they also made a few suggestions. Thank you Patrick, Alexa, Josephine, Brenda, Abner and Purhan for taking such good care of us. Would be nice to know before you book & pay that the hotel is under construction. Not just a little Reno’s a lot. Parking is very minimal especially for trucks. They’re using most of the secured parkade for their storage of construction materials & leave the main gate open all day. Their continental breakfast is a joke. Coffee, juice, apples, Cheerios, a couple hard boiled eggs depending on what time you get there. Milk 2 go & croissants that will be there the next day if u don’t eat them. Nothing to put on them to make them taste better. Half the hotel is under Reno’s & they still charge a ridiculous amount. Room is decent but the bathroom is pretty tight for taller people. Pullout couch is awful, they need to add a mattress topper to the rooms for them. King bed was good. Restaurant attached has claimed all the parking out front & there was never more than 1 car in the lot. Something needs to change while they’re under construction. Other than location I wouldn’t choose here again.
